Tru by Hilton opened its first-ever property in Oklahoma City followed by eight additional hotel locations, and expanded internationally with signed deals for three locations in Canada. In addition, the first-ever Tru by Hilton and Home2 Suites by Hilton dual-brand hotel celebrated its grand opening in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Hilton's (NYSE: HLT) new, midscale hotel brand, Tru by Hilton, today announced the opening of its newest property, Tru by Hilton Portland. The 98-room hotel, located at 369 Maine Mall Road in South Portland, is owned by VanSleep, LLC - Joe VanWhy and managed by InnDeavor Development Corp. The new hotel is conveniently located near the Portland International Jetport, Maine Mall, and serves as a great base for visitors travelling to the Old Port, Portland Headlight, Casco Bay, and Old Orchard Beach.

Hilton's (NYSE: HLT) new, midscale hotel brand, Tru by Hilton, today announced the opening of its newest property, Tru by Hilton Stuttgart. The 84-room hotel, located at 204 W. 22nd Street in Stuttgart, Arkansas is owned and managed by Flyway Developments. The new hotel is conveniently located directly on 22nd Street in the Rice Capital of the World, near the Grand Prairie Center and other attractions.
As a part of its recent Global Week of Service, Hilton’s
(NYSE: HLT) focused service brands (Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton by Hilton and Tru by
Hilton) collaborated with Enchanted Makeovers to help kids feel like superheroes by
donating custom-made capes to the “Capes for Kids” program as well as other children
in need. The cape symbolizes a suit of armor that inspires play and fills children with
strength, imagination and hope.
Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today announced deals for three Tru by Hilton properties in Canada, which marks the development of the brand’s first non-U.S. locations. Located in Alberta, Tru by Hilton Edmonton-Windermere is the first of these properties expected to open in 2018. It will be followed by two additional Tru by Hilton properties in Ontario in 2019. These hotels are part of Tru by Hilton’s robust pipeline of 420 hotels in various stages of development – the fastest-growing pipeline in the history of the hospitality industry.
